About the Designer

Hi! I’m Lisa, owner and lead designer for Green & Grace Florals. I live north of Baltimore, MD (near the PA line) with my husband, 2 sons, and 3 dogs. My love for flowers stems (heh, pun intended!) from the first little garden I started in 2012, which has moved to a new home and grown with me over the years. I was hooked on gardening and the joy of flowers!

After planning my 2014 wedding, I quickly realized how big of an impact that floral designs can have on an event, and my appreciation for the work of florists and floral designers was at an all-time high. Since then, I have taught myself the art and business through lots of self-study and advice from the pros. In March 2020 (amidst the beginnings of a global pandemic), I launched my business—Green & Grace, LLC!

I began my career path as a pharmacist, which still brings me the satisfaction of helping others, but floral design is truly my creative outlet. I hope to never stop growing and continue to learn from others around me. I love to get to know my clients and what really inspires them as well!

The Details

As a boutique floral company, we offer design services for a limited number of events. In order to focus my energy on the client and their vision, I am currently only booking up to fifteen weddings a year. *All other events (bridal or baby shower, anniversary party, retirement, corporate dinner, etc.) are based on availability.

I am a home-based business located in White Hall, MD, serving all of the areas surrounding Baltimore County, MD and York County, PA. Local pick-up is always an option, but we also love to travel!

The Style

Just like in nature, I strive to create so that no two designs are exactly the same. Sourcing from locally- and American-grown flowers whenever possible, I use the freshest blooms, wildflowers, and seasonal greenery available, presented in an organic hand-crafted style. I also love to incorporate fresh flowers from my own cutting gardens, foraged greenery and stems, and dried florals to give a unique touch to my work.

Weddings: Whether you’re an engaged couple, the mother of the bride, or just dreaming of your big day, I’m sure there’s a bouquet or boutonniere somewhere in your vision. Modern wedding florals have come a long way, and we can take that Pinterest board vision of yours and break it down during our consultations. We will collaborate on your style and vision to create the best approach to your dream designs.

Something old, something new: I collect vessels and love what a vintage find can do for modern floral designs! It’s also more sustainable for the environment.
